I swear by apple computers but I reckon their OS software peaked years ago, and all subsequent "upgrades" are totally dubious and unnecessary. I'm looking for a Snow Leopard disk to go back to an earlier version on my Lion laptop.

I might be able to help you there, PM me.

How's everyone and is anyone about ?xx

I'm about BB but off to bed now, after I encourage my 3 dogs to go out for a bedtime wee when it is raining. Yes, we have rain, first time for ages, and no need to water my plant pots tomorrow yeah :j

Goodnight to any other night owls still up

  • FC - I've just read your piece about your hubby sharing some of his experiences with you. That HAS to be a good thing as it must have taken a lot to be able to share. I really need to get those CD's off to you - once I discover where hubby hid them again. If he is starting to open up then they should work well.

I can't find a damned thing here when he decides to put things away - unopened bills, urgent mail that I've put in a pile to see to swiftly - all disappear. I knew where everything was but now have no inkling. It's infuriating sometimes as I do try & keep on top of things.

Last week I drank copious amounts of water as was taking him on yet another hospital appt. I thought kill 2 birds with one stone and try& have my blood taken at same time - I'm the proverbial stone & just can't give blood, been sent away many a time after turning black & blue both arms, both hands etc. They tell me to try & drink as much water as I can before attempting to give blood. Got to hospital, got him settled where he needed to be & went back to car to get forms out of glove box - where they reside, as I usually have to have about 1/2 a dozen tries at it. Blood forms nowhere to be seen, checked my handbag- nothing. Went back into hospital & asked him if he'd picked them up for me. "I took them in the house as they've been in glovebox forever!" I still haven't found out where he put them & as he's back on morphine he has no idea.

Yes, I agree, perhaps if he could put a little effort in and post them on Tuesday, that would be good :)

I entirely agree - I would then be able to get my shopping planned and done before I go to Morries, rather than coming back here, way late again, and having to do the shopping all of a rush late at night:p:rotfl:. Really should be more considerate I feel and move them away from Mondays and Wednesdays:rotfl:!

Or do their price collections on another day and post the entire results for us, themselves, on their own grocery site. Now when would they ever do that?!?:rotfl::D

They ought to have a law requiring them to publish their entire price data, and keep it updated constantly, so that the entire public, including us, could have the perfect information that the market economy assumes that we have and then we could do our shopping right. :doh:I suspect, if such a law was passed, the APG/T PP etc. would not exist! But the point is, of course, that they know already, from their own data, when they arenot10% cheaper, or not price-matched, to a competitor's price.

Good morning everyone. Lovely bright day here today. Sky is very blue but does look cold. Have a load of washing to go out so no doubt will rain soon. No glitching for me at the min as too busy, although wombling still. Off to do the chores now. Have a great day.

    Good morning.

A bit drizzly here today. DS's football match is kicking off later than usual today, so I had hoped to cut the grass this morning first. Will see if the sun comes out and dries it out enough ...

Have a lovely day all :)

We had another "first egg" this morning :j :j :j She clearly doesn't mind not doing it privately as it was when they were all still shut in their house :rotfl:

Why wait until tomorrow? Is there an emergency number you can ring? I hope it's sorted very quickly for you :)
