I also think liquitabs are not a very MSE option because it assumes all wash loads are the identical which they are not - far more economical to use laundry liquid.

If you have a few lightly soiled hardly worn items that just need a freshen up, half a cap is fine. If its a filthy sweaty muddy grass stained full load than it gets a full to the brim capful plus some stain remover as well.

I find liquitabs don't store as well as I have some stick together and impossible to part, worse case senario was had to chuck 3 in one wash not very :money:

It's possible because storing them out in garage they are subjected to extremes of temperature. Also notice some gel liquids separate a bit and need mixing. Had all the fragrance first half of one bottle once by time I got to bottom hardly smelt, thought it had been extra strong at first clothes smelt lovely. Lol.

Both the above were As own this happened to after about year. Brands seem to fair better have been able to separate the liquitabs and have kept for around 2 years no problem, don't think I have ever kept any longer I do try to rotate.

I have both liquitabs and liquids. What I use depends of what I'm washing, and how much. I tend to use liquid for the lighter washes and tabs for the heavier ones

I used the link that was on the MSE printables thread last week as OH was desperate for coffee so I just got some from Morrisons for £2.19.

I wonder if this is a new separate MOC.

I think its the same one things must take longer to get north:D

    Morning all.

I must try and embrace this hungry feeling I am not used to. :o

My tummy is making all sorts of weird and wonderful noises this morning. A true test of willpower with the biscuits and chocolate I have stashed. ;)

I have powder and I have liquid, the liquid I got free through something or other, have a couple of bottles.

With the powder I use one of those measures you get in the Vanish tubs, find I don't need more than that. If it includes my OH's badders stuff I might add a little stain remover.

I haven't touched the liquid I got free yet (though I did get the powder free on DTD), liquid tends to clog up the machine and I have it purely as a standby and for hand washing.

A glass of water/squash will soon see that off :)

Refreshing I sometimes see the multi  - sometimes it's missing..

    So tread carefully.

I find the app to be more reliable than the website and the multis are missing on there.
  • Morning all - sorry I forget the niceties often!:o

Does anyone know when the Udi's went out of stock in Waitrose? OR are they just out of stock in this area, which I assume would make them still work? Has anyone had a CC or HD that they can check before about 11.45am today?

I'm also assuming the Fairy is £4 in every Asda - am I correct here or incorrect? Assuming too I can use mullers as fillers?

    Any help appreciated. Thanks
They are only showing one * (the oos symbol). They should still work. I think it's when they show 2 next to the price on MSM, like this £1.00** . This is when it likely won't work. I'm sure the Tosco price for Udis has been like £1.00* for ages while still working.

I buy whatever is cheap. Have huge boxes of powder that will need chiseling when I get round to using them, I do put it off as have to have stood next to machine. But actually find towels and sheets wash better with good dose of powder in the drawer. Would not use on everything though. Like FC I get lazy sometimes, the ease of chucking a liquitab in.

I forgot I do also have some wash tabs that are the compressed powder type I find the supermarkets own don't dissolve properly after storing for ages. I have to stand at the machine breaking them up while the water is going in. Thinking about it they are over 2 years old now as I bought them when mum was alive. And it's her 2 year anniversary tomorrow.
