Just got into a very long conversation with a PPI chap who finally admitted their charges - 33%

I also think the millions of people who have had loans in the last 15 years who took out PPI are possibly either deceased, in care home without their mental faculties, in prisons or have left the country ...

I know for sure we never had PPI but its now put a doubt in my head - I wonder if there is a simple thread somewhere as to where to start ...

I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it. :)

Just trying to sort out the paperwork compost heap on my desk and I found the annual credit card statement - they send us this at the end of each tax year. Fortunately no fees or charges as its paid off each month.

OMG - we spent £11739 on the card over the year
and I thought we were trying to be so MSE

OK we did have the builder in but he was paid in cash as we went along so that's not on the bill.

Holidays are paid for with the debit card so that's not included and the builder was paid for in cash as we went along
    - I think we had maybe 5 midweek breaks over the year so that might be about £800, new fencing, cattery fees and the coal mans bill all get paid by cc but even taking these off its still a very big annual bill.

    Xmas Saver!
I havnt been on for about a week and they dropped the new skin on me when I did. So glad it wasnt just me, just gone back to old school.

I was searching for the fragrance deal as the mrs loves Ghost, but the search function on the new skin is stuffed and will show you the posts that have a keyword, but would not then let you open just that post, only the thread or the board it is on. Will try again now.
