I have no idea how anyone got my details, but now have the inconvenience of having no card until the new one arrives. Top marks to the card company for spotting it so quickly though :T:T:T
OMG - thank goodness it was spotted - mind you it might have been nothing to do with the large purchase yesterday, it could have been something quite innocent months ago.
At least you got to know exactly what had happened.
I was paying a garage bill when my card failed and I had to ring the bank when I got home - a test purchase had been flagged up on the system and halted - they do this to see if a card is still viable.
This is a good reminder to make sure your contact email and numbers on your bank details are up to date.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Good morning all, another lovely sunny day herequeen_of_cheap wrote: »Morning all
I had perhaps the best nights sleep ever last night :j
yesterday was a one egg day. I have no expectations today :rotfl:
I had scrambled egg for my dinner last night. I can't remember the last time I did that. I ate about half of it, it was nice when it was hot but as it cooled down, the texture and taste changed and my throat was telling me not to eat any more :rotfl:
I am beginning to wonder why you are now keeping chickens QoC, you don't seem to like eggs :eek:What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

They're quite good with this these days. A couple of years back my bank asked me to call and someone had been putting all sorts of charges through on my debit card. Funnily enough we were on holiday at the time, and the last time I used the card in question before we went was at the airport  They cleared everything though.
I tried to use my credit card to buy a couple of rather nice rings in Kenya (circle of elephants for DD and tsarovite and diamond for me) and actually had to speak to them, even though I had warned them I was travelling to Kenya. Then the other day I used my card to get some equipment for DH's business, a substantial purchase, and got a text from them asking me to call, they just wanted to check it was me.
It is something of a comfort to know that they do not just ignore anomalies anymoreI would rather have the inconvenience of no card for a while than have someone rip me off, but the above did spur me to get a spare card that I do not currently use but is a good standby. Which reminds me, I must put something minor on it to keep it valid

I am beginning to wonder why you are now keeping chickend QoC, you don't seem to like eggs
I am having to relearn eating eggs- I went off them after the big salmonella scare and years later, I had salmonella poisoning :eek::eek:
There have always been ways that I can eat them- in hot quiche, pancakes, cakes etc :cool:I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. Savvybuyer wrote: »Hi there everyone! I'm just coming in to this and I don't understand how you get a different voucher value from the same shop. I know the APG site (I assume the old one, whatever that is) went down for maintenance at some point in the last 24 hours, probably late night.
I've tried on Chrome (which is supposedly the old site) and on FF (supposedly the new) and both have powered by msm for me. I've checked the T&Cs on the FF website, which looks to me identical to the one I'm getting on Chrome, and it's still mentioning Morries prices updated twice per week, collected instore etc. Wonder if they're pulling the rug from me and changing things while I'm not looking?:rotfl:
My Sains. shop was abandoned:(. As is probably common knowledge to everyone, their dog, cat, fish and every other animal by the time I'm here way way late, the Curly Wurly, which did not show any mbuy on the SEL in my store, went through at full prices. So, either it is store-specific and I've missed out as it was not applicable in the store I happened to visit or clearly there were another five items bought on the earlier shop that picked up the 5 for £1 mbuy between them. If anyone paid 5 for £1 for five 10p flumps, personally, I think you were had:rotfl:.
Such a shame as no point buying any of my shop without the Curly Wurly - would otherwise be adding just normal essential items merely to reach the eight and getting only pence back:( and far less than the cost of any additional item (after APG) that I'd have to buy if I went after further than a 10p flump or fruit and veg. - just no point even bothering with the shop as I, if I am to get anything decent back, I'd be spending way beyond what I needed. So, if nothing extra comes on versus Sains. rather soon, I'll have to buy the essential items separately and then don't get any 10% off on them:(, so either way, they have caught me, and I end up overpaying them. I need the Lynx Shower gels suddenly to go onto 2 for £3 when no-one is looking so I can add a couple of those, otherwise it's pointless. A shame too as it seems the Trebor Softmints Peppermint, Trebor Extra Strong Mints and Wine Gums combo. would be back on again vs S.
So you just wrote your petrol money and time off thenWhen The Fun Stops Stop0
