Our house is still on Rightmove

We bought a house a month ago and I can still see it on Right move marked as Sold STC. But , I want it to be taken off the market. When contacted the estate agents , they said they cant do anything about this and it eventually comes off rightmove.

Is there any other way?

They can remove it, they're talking bobbins, they're trying to make themselves look good to potential new clients with the numbers of SSTC properties the have

We completed on our last sale & purchase in mid December. Until two weeks ago our old house was still listed on RM as SSTC.

In our case two branches of the same EA were marketing our house (it was a rural property located half an hour from each branch in different directions) and during the time our house was for sale (5 weeks) the manager of one office jumped ship to leaving virtually no-one to oversee proceedings. The second office removed our old house promptly on completion.

I guess our buyers were unaware - at least initially - that their new home was still shown online and obviously it wasn't our job to contact RM.......

A month is more than enough time for them to have removed the property.
If you don't want it on there then I would write a complaint to the EA asking them to ensure it is removed within the next 7days.

I'm not all together sure why you are so worried about it? It's not like it will be removed totally from the Internet the details will be up there forever.

You are not actually instructing/paying the EA so I don't know how you can make them take the details down?
