Complaints procedure
I currently have an internal complaint with Scottish Power open.
If they don't agree with me and it goes to the ombudsman then can they (or will they) continue to pursue a disputed bill through the courts or put a default on a credit file or does everything go "on hold".
Thanks

If you have the complaint in front of the ombudsman then all action should be put on hold, in fact if a bill is in dispute then all collection and enforcement should cease until they have resolved the complaint ....... but ......... the incompetence of the energy companies knows no bounds with departments not talking to each other so who knows what they will actually do. I am certain though that if they took a case to court that was still with the ombudsman they would get a severe talking to from the judge.0
