Pac Code Transferred But Can Still Use Both Phones?
Hi Folks
I rang Vodafone on Monday and asked for my Pac Code, so that I could give it to EE. The port was to take place yesterday, which has actually just happened now.
I wasn't able to receive calls or texts yesterday on either the old phone or the new phone, however I could use both to make calls and send texts.
This morning I tried ringing the new phone from my landline and it's now receiving calls, which is good, but I would have thought that the old phone would now be showing "no service" or something like that?
Oh, and on the new phone (EE) this morning, I've been sent a text from Vodafone telling me that my bill for the month is £64.77 - which is about three times higher than what it normally is.
Is that not right?

It's quite normal for both sims to be active in one form or other whilst the porting is in process ...when it's fully complete the old sim will show no service although you may need to reboot the phone for it to show no service
Depends if had termination fees for terminating before minimum term is up and 30 days notice etc etc ....best to check the bill online and see what it breaks down toOh, and on the new phone (EE) this morning, I've been sent a text from Vodafone telling me that my bill for the month is £64.77 - which is about three times higher than what it normally is.
Is that not right? It's not just about the money0 -
