Firefox problem or ISP problem

Hi my Dad is trying to get into Loyds Bank website using Firefox. He is on a Windows 8.1 laptop. When he trys to get into the website it comes up with "The connection was reset. The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading" When he tries IE he can get in no probs.

I've tried it on my old and new computers and I can get in fine. He is trying to watch a video from Loyds bank which he can't access but again I can access it fine.

I've noticed the Internet has been erratic and I posted a message about not getting into emails a few days ago.

Thank you for your advice.
