So get this guy's...
After weeks of procrastinating and putting it off I finally gathered the courage to call up the dwp about why I haven't received any payment for my fit note and they say they have not received one!?
I told them the exact date I've sent it off they say they will look into it.
Anyway I have another fit note but the problem is there's gaps between them, this one begins 3 weeks after the old one ends... It was my fault I should've chased it up but I was waiting to receive a confirmation letter like I always do and because I went to a different doc at my GP he didn't backdate it.
Looks like I'm screwed. I have a bad habit when it comes to chasing up these kinds of things as I get nervous because I'm not the confrontational sort!0 -

Can't you produce the proof of posting registered, or didn't you do that?0 -
Maybe, but the other thing you've wondered about is also fairly rare and difficult to test for.I hear it's really rare getting Lyme and diagnosis is hard and isn't very accurate.
Take a look at this website. I think it is either becoming more common, or being diagnosed more often. Either way you may be able to rule the possibility in or out using that information.Signature removed for peace of mind0 -

I didn't do that, I've been posting them with the prepaid envelope that I've been receiving free.
Anyway another hurdle...
The duplicate the doctor gave me doesn't have a signature, they say they don't sign duplicates, but the job centre don't accept it without a signature.0 -
Yes there are other doctors in the surgery she was the one appointment was available for the quickest. Thing is she told me on my appointment to only see her from now on!?
Anyway although I'd like to claim esa my first priority is trying to get better. I hate being judged by people for not working thinking I'm a scrounger. I've worked since I was 17. I really don't know what to do next.
Is it really out of the realms of possibility that I could have a condition that doesn't show up on conventional tests?
she's wrong you can see any gp at the surgery you choose,as an example what if was an emergency and she was in the bahamas for a month?0
