Addicted to checking my S&S ISA

How do you identify when it's the optimum time to buy?
I don't as such, but if the fund has been mostly falling for a few days, and/or is less than what I paid for it initially, then I will buy and hope that it doesn't fall too much further.
I might not always end up buying at exactly the optimum time, but if I did not keep close tabs on funds, then I wouldn't have any chance or very little anyway. At least this way, I can usually get a boost of at least a few percent when I top up or buy. :beer:0 -
I check daily too. During my lunch and when I get home from work. Dividends go in at any time. Works pension goes in on about the 20th each month, Personal Pension payments and ISA top up around the 10th, Tax relief on Personal pension is about the 21'st and Payday is at the end of the month. Any cash over a set amount at the end of the month is also swept into my investments. I don't like any cash just sitting there so it gets so when it gets to £1000 I buy another lot of shares or split it across my funds. My main point for logging on though is to check the financial news incase there is something to prompt me to buy or sell. I do need to get out more I know.Solar PV cost £5760 (15/03/13)
FIT inc + Electricity saved £3746 (65% Paid back) Tax free
