Do £100 notes exist?

A Northern Ireland bank will not issue Scottish notes any more than an English one will - so the NI £100s are your only real option - apart from going to Scotland which seems a bit of a big deal. I would not pursue this TBH. £100s are rare even in those parts of the UK that issue them.

That is correct. the EUR500 is still issued by Eurozone banks but in the UK it has been agreed by the wholesale note providers not to issue them because of their frequent use in money laundering - they are not illegal here, just very hard to get.

£50s / £100 are easily available if you pop into a branch and bank at a note issuing bank in Scotland.

You may think that £100s are rare but it's all relative

Lots of EU countries don't issue €500 notes but will accept in modest quantities ; not really much different in the UK
