Ebay. There are a lot of good sellers on there.

Not a lover of eBay, but I'll see what there is ...
Sony A55. I looked on Amazon but saw the reviews here and got a bit worried about buying http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sony-NPFW50-CE-NPFW50-Battery/dp/B003NJVY14
Jessops sell them for £76!

on eBay...

seems a bit cheap0 -
I'd be buying this < £10 battery - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Ex-Pro-NP-FW50-NPFW50-Power-Upgraded/dp/B005HOXE6G/
The replacement battery for my Panasonic LX7 holds a bit more charge than the original that came with it. It was a cheapo from Amazon0 -

I needed to replace a PC battery and went to a well known local electrical store. They wanted almost 5 quid for one on those small disk shape batteries so I decided to try the pound shop.
They were selling them in that pound shop at 8 for a quid !!!! :rotfl:0 -
Don't rule eBay out.
I bought two batteries for my Canon 450D DSLR years ago, when the 450 was their latest offering.
They were cheap, so cheap that I decided that even if they didn't last that long they were worth a try and they turned out to be superb.
So much so that I'm still using them, and the Canon original and none of them seem to have deteriorated either. The also fit my Canon G9 which was a bonus.
Just make sure you read the feedback people have left and avoid the bad or dodgy sellers. I think i used a UK seller rather than China but I can't really remember, it was so long ago.One by one the penguins are slowly stealing my sanity.0 -

The stuff is no better than the cheap things from Amazon0 -
I've used a company called bestbatt in the States a couple of times, and they have been great. Panasonic camcorder battery, tichy little thing, was near enough £60 here, fraction of that over there, and good service.0
