Should I use money-off vouchers that aren't mine?

Use the discount wasted by the person who stupidly left the voucher!
You'll save a bit and Supermarket will get the money, anyway!!
(But don't fall out with your boyfriend over just this!!):A0 -
If it makes you happier donate the £4 to a charity of your choice.0

Just get a life, both of you, and thank your lucky stars if this is the biggest worry you have!0

(because they're young, foolish and spend their time complaining that they have no money!)
Explain when I serve a 18-23 year old for fags, which cost £7.20, they give me £8 and many of them say put the change in the charity money box?

Technically it is theft. Some shops would frown on this practice. Others may welcome the extra business that your spend brings. Sainsbury's now link money off coupons to your nectar card.
What about this. If I use the voucher get money off and then return the item within 28 days and get a refund to its full retail value thus pocketing the £4, is that theft?:D0 -
A careless shopper leaves a voucher and you use it,theft? i don't think so.
We went by train to London last year and sat opposite each other at a table.Five or six stops in a young woman get's on and joins us.Half an hour later it's her stop and she get's off. Then the train moves on and the wife noticed some change on the seat that she was using, too late to say anything so we pocket the money(£2.70).I don't consider this to be theft and neither should you.If on the other hand she would have just moved to another seat we would have told her.Or if it was a wallet with her details in it would have been posted on by us.0 -
used to do it all the time at self service in Sainsburys , even used to get them out the bin , now its nectar card specific for your points so dont bother"If I know I'm going crazy, I must not be insane"0

@ smartermind
I'm not sure on Sainsburys returns policy but I'd think if you were returning an item you'd need your receipt to get cash back which would show the discount voucher, if you didn't have a receipt then you'd only get a credit note / voucher etc. so you wouldn't have gained anything.0 -
I saw a piece of litter on our back lawn, when I picked it up I found it was a 98p coupon to spend at Tesco. Our garden is enclosed and we live 2 miles from Tesco! And yes I did spend it, my reward for picking up litter.0

If you bought something with a coupon and return it, you only get what you have paid after the coupon. So if you bought an item of clothing for £20, have a £4 off £20. You paid £16 on card or with cash. But your exchange amount is £20 if you want to swap another item. This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
