Problem with email to multiple addresses

I co-ordinate a number of different groups of people which requires me to send an email to multiple addresses (up to 20).
It seems that some of these emails are not being received by some people (not always the same people, although some get all the emails). If I send out individual emails they all get delivered. I use Windows 7 and Windows live mail, the email address I use for this is the one linked to my ISP Plusnet. There are no error messages and no emails are bounced back. Plusnet can only suggest using Webmail. This has only started to happen in the last few months. Does anyone have an idea of what is happening and how I can fix the problem?

No errors and no bounce backs suggests they are being Spam Filtered.
You need to get everyone you send emails to, to check their spam filers (both in the software they use and also on the WebMail side) and add you to their safe sender lists.
Its also possible that someone using your ISP is spamming a lot (be it deliberately or because they have a malware infection) and your ISP may be blacklisted, but getting that fixed will be a lot harder.0 -
Spam filters will consider a high number of recipients to likely be a spam email.Science isn't exact, it's only confidence within limits.0

I agree some form of filtering could be the issue, but I don't understand why this only seems to be a problem when I send to multiple addresses - I don't fully understand the technicalities of email so I'm not sure where such filtering could take place.0 -

Have you tried making all the recipients BCCs? That might defeat a check of the number of recipients if that is the problem.0

Also good manners to use BCC rather than CC as you're broadcasting everyone's (possibly private) email address to lots of people.0

Some clients do have spam filters built in, which will filter mails that it receives, some use their own junk folder for these, others may just get rid of them.
the filtering can also happen on the server itself, again this can put them into a spam/junk folder or just not delivery them, or even reject them completely.
span filters generally work on a points system, so each item is given a number of points and if they go over the threshold they are marked as spam.0
