Might be a good deal by co-op standards, but that would cost £5 or near enough elsewhere anyway.

Wedges and onion rings are like 89p in Iceland, pizza is £1/£1.50 max. Garlic bread under a pound. Ice cream always on offer at various places.

I heard that the next £5 frozen deal is going to be a good one and it will be in around 1500 of their shops, so keep an eye out

Would have to be soon if I was to use it as our local Co-op is closing next month, getting taken over by Lidl.

There's a rumour in my town that our local co-op is getting taken over by Lidl too. Well, some say lidl and some say aldi but people from round here are easily confused.

Yeah, all the Co-op staff are being finished apparently as Lidl want their own staff, new faces to run the store.
  • Has this offer now finished? and is their anyway of checking which stores have the offers?

As ststed above the chicago town pizzas are very nice and usually retail for £4 apiece definitley one of the best frozen pizzas out there and mackies icecream very nice indeed, the others are just nice extras for a family cheat night after eating healthy for the rest of the week.

    Is that legal?

If they are taking the store over then surely the staff would come under TUPE similar to when Asda bought Netto some years ago.

TUPE applies when a company is being taken over/bought by another. Not the case in this instance. Co-op are not being taken over by Aldi / Lidl.
Co-op are moving out of the site, Aldi/Lidl are moving in.

I bought this offer twice. The next offer is fish, chips, peas. Apple strudel and ice cream (I think). Starts this Weds.
