What's the election going to do?

I don't think anything much will change... an EU exit referendum from a Tory government could create some market uncertainty, but otherwise, despite all the talk, no one's going to do anything to meaningfully improve affordable housing supply and so the madness goes on.0

45 years ago, when I was at college, a politics lecturer told my class about a group of USSR students who had recently visited the area and the college.
Apparently, the class to which they had been invited questioned them about the hardships of living in their country, especially regarding political views.
Their reply was that we British believe we have a choice, but all political parties are the same ; in it for themselves, while the population gain nothing. (their 'minder' wasn't present)0 -
Round here, it will just mean we all go down to the village hall, meet George at the door, say something positive, like: "Gurt foine day for n'lection, eh George? Us'll show um!"
Then we'll go in and vote for the other lot.:rotfl:
George will still get in. His lot supports huntin', shootin' & dogging, but not necessarily in that order.

Whatever the election result be, it won't affect house price - at least in short term.Happiness is buying an item and then not checking its price after a month to discover it was reduced further.0

I think it's more likely we get another hung parliament/coalition.
That's my guess - and with one particular little woman thinking she can make like a kingmaker (she lives in hope.....). Quite frankly its a real toss-up whose face I'd like to slap first out of hers, Ca-morons, etc.
Am wondering about that hugely extravagant promise from Cameron of flogging off all the housing association places as well.
Just where does he think public sector housing would come from for those needing it if such a large tranche of it got sold off - on top what has already been sold off??0
