Is it as simple as
Cameron - prices will hold/go up
Miliband - prices drop a little, then recover after 6-9 months?

Don't forget UKIP/SNP/Lib Dems as one of them may be power-sharing and thus influence policy - and property prices.0 -

Do you want house prices to go up or down?0
-
Whoever wins prices will continue to rise. Why? Because of chronic under-supply. We've heard time-and-time again that the govt will kick-start a housebuilding boom but it never happens and if it does this time the effects won't be felt for a long time. All we see is tinkering at the edges (help to buy, homebuyers ISA, shared equity) which act as sticking plasters.0

Lab/Con are so close in policy it's hard to imagine there will be anything other than short term shifts in house prices.0

Is this a debate?0

Quite frankly, for a large number of people, things will just get worse. It doesn't matter who gets in. Both Conservative and Labour policies are to get votes, with no real look at economics. Whichever party wins, we are all going to suffer. Sorry, but that's my opinion. Both parties are off their rocker this time. Not known it to be this bad before. But then we didn't know what trouble Labour had created before the election last time.
Without a crystal ball no one can judge what is going to happen. Its not just which party gets in, its whether they do what they say they will. Didn't happen last time.
But I do agree, there isn't much difference between them.0 -
I think it's more likely we get another hung parliament/coalition.0

I'd say it is, and it's therefore in the wrong place.0 -

Cost a lot of money, take up far too much TV/radio time, fill newspapers with even more pointless news stories, destroy a lot of trees and put an extra burden on refuse collection/recycling servicesIf you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0
