Manifest Stupidity III - Tory Toffs and the Terrible Plots

Surprised that Conservatives are planning to spend less than 2% of GDP on defence. That will do a lot for our importance in the world. So unlike the Tories of the past.
... whilst maintaining the foreign aid budget which funds countries with better defence equipment than ourselves and also whom have a space programme...0 -

He's getting quite good at it.
You have a whole new career ahead of you.
PS After doing UKIP you might change your mind 'In nature, there are neither rewards nor punishments - there are Consequences.'0 -
I didn't see much mention about bringing quality jobs back to UK.
By quality I am aiming slightly higher than iffy car washers and overworked coffee sellers.
What happens when the PPI bandwagon fades and we need to find new work for all the young people working at these firms (transient though the jobs are)?
Little wonder the productivity scores lag our neighbours.0 -

In theory you're meant to spend 2% on defence as a minimum to stay in NATO. That's why the SNP declaration that they'll get rid of Trident is meaningless in budget terms as the money has to stay in the defence budget really. You can't spend the money on free milk for cats or equal brains for stupid people.0 -

Some would consider deep fried mars bars and mcCains pizzas as Weapons of Mass destruction.
Couldn't we just reclassify the output of many a Scottish chippy?0 -

Better vote Tory then.
Labour would claim that a health food shop was actually selling chips cooked in dripping and get the Americans to blow up the street.
The Americans would then destroy Upper Street rather than High Street and drop a few bombs on the local air base by mistake, try to cover it up and create a new secret law so that anyone that Googled the action would be killed by their laptop.0 -

Fiddle the figures
give the armed forces enough to meet the 2% target, take some of it back by charging defense specific taxes eg maybe busienss rates on war ships hhahha0 -

I foresee a slight refinement on those telly ads coming ...
"Victor is just 8 years old, and frankly .... his life sucks. Just £3 a week of your hard earned will buy him an Xbox 360 and he might just forget about jumping into a dodgy raft and sailing across the med."0 -

I don't see much alternative tbh. I know they are a bunch of self-serving duck house specialists, but the hope is they are slightly less fiscally incontinent than the others.
Labour still have Ed Balls around - that's how short of new ideas they are. I'd rather have Cannon and Ball compared with Cooper and Balls.
SNP? Well...since Avatar there is a shortage of blue coloured face paint (apparently Mel Gibson is outraged). So they are out.
UKIP are really only useful for winding up the Tory doorsteppers.0
