On the Subject of the DVLA - I would strongly suggest that the OP, Chortie goes and checks their details with the DVLA especially if they have a replacement/new vehicle far too many people are being caught out by the new rules and finding themselves with a fine, and/or their vehicle clamped or towed and these fines are real fines and somewhat harder to deal with than the blizzard of bulshyte that spews forth from the private parking industry. https://www.vehicleenquiry.service.gov.uk/
