UKPPO Popla Appeal Help

  • Sent my letter off to UKPPO over a month ago refusing the payment. All then went quiet. However today just received a letter from Debt Recovery Plus demanding a payment for £159.99. They claim that they will take court action to recover what they claim is owed. What do you folks recommend my next step should be?

Read post # 4 of the NEWBIES FAQ sticky.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

    Dear Debt Recovery Plus,

Please inform your client that enforcement of a penalty under bylaws is statute time-barred after six months, so you are p*ss*ng in the wind here, and so is your client.

    Now, go away.

    Yours,
    Je Suis Cecil.

Did you file complaints to all of the previously mentioned organizations? How did they go?

    Just ignore DRP.
  • Thanks ManxRed for the tip. I read quite a lot about these since my last post. Seems potentially like a form of harassment. Herzlos, I decided to hold back on my complaint to the other organisations to give them a chance to "back off". But since they've decided not to, I will definitely be complaining to the other organisations now. I will keep you in the loop.

I'm not sure how to add the images on here. I can email you them if it's easier?
