The rate of my Cash ISA (Halifax) was lowered for the current tax year and I'm looking to transfer for a better rate. I'd also like to open a Help to buy ISA later in the year.
Can I transfer my Cash ISA to another provider, not make any contributions to it for this tax year and then open a Help to buy ISA in October?
