    I'm sure they'd have no issues at all with some unskilled bloke with no information on which connection was which and no way of finding out taking a screwdriver to their kit in the exchange (which is where the ADSL tie pair are located) and would be only too happy to waive the £30.

    Which of course as well as ensuring your broadband does not work anymore would also make sure your phone is disconnected as well.:eek:

    ...an easier way is to take a pair of shears to the cable outside your house -very effective way of disconnecting :rotfl:
