Help,
My mother was recently signed up to business contract at an O2 franchise, even though she told them she is a pensioner with only a pension for income.
A woman working there bombarded her with information and assurances that it would be cheaper even though she has happily used a pay-as-you-go deal for years.
Now she has a £66 phone bill not itemised I've tried to get an itemised bill but cannot get online access to the account because we don't have the security question answers.
O2 have wiped their hands of it telling me it's a problem I have to take up with the franchise, I'm looking for advice before I go in.
Is business tariff contract legally binding if you're not a business?
Other than the moral and ethical issues is it legal to sell this contract to a none business user?
Can I have it cancelled and the charges cleared?

Who's the franchise that sold the contract and why was it a business contract ?It's not just about the money0

Levine Retail Ltd
40 Hoghton Street, Southport, PR9 0PQ
Sold at their Kirkby store.
Seem to be connected to Formby Connections Ltd who operate out of the same address.
Selling business contracts to people is standard practice industry wide apparently!0 -

I'd be tempted to ask O2 what criteria has to be met for the contract she is on before going to see them.
As a business contract at a shop she should have been given a copy of the contract etc ...have you read through it to see what the details are ?It's not just about the money0
