Skipton ISA transfer in experience

I found doing the transfer at 11pm last night didn't work. Tried again this morning after 10am and it worked fine. As somebody already said, probably best trying the transfer during more 'regular' hours.0

As an update, I can confirm the advice/experiences are correct. I tried during 9-5 and it went through the first time, money in account within 48 hours.
I have no prior reference to an ISA transfer but found it efficient. Overall, however, I can't really say I'm pleased with Skipton.
If this transfer only works between 9 to 5, the website should mention it. Just a 1 liner would do. The majority of online ie "home" banking is done outside of work hours (when people are at work) so I'm sure this has resulted in many unnecessary delays, calls to customer service, paper forms being sent by post.
Customer service staff were also clueless about the 9-5, insisted it could not be done without a signature and that the problem was with my computer. They also should have clarified the form they were sending me by post was the same damn form on their website I could have downloaded. This "service", while seemingly helpful, was just a pointless waste of paper and time.0 -
Have to say I'm amazed at the speed of my ISA transfer from FD to Skipton. It took 2 days from requesting online for it all to be done. No signature required, no cheques in the post going astray, no loss of interest.
At last they've come into the 21st century; I guess it depends on both banks being in the 21st century though. I had a transfer not so long ago form Barnsley BS to Yorkshire BS taking a couple of months -they are essentially the same building society working out of the same building !0
