There should be a filling loop somewhere on the boiler, suggest googling for specific instructions for your boiler
That gum you like is coming back in style.
  • I haven't been able to find anything. I'd like to show you guys the images i took of the pipes below my boiler box but this forum doesnt allow me to, as a new user. I have no idea what a filling loop should look like for my model...

Open vented has no filling loop, just a tank in the loft.
The inlet can be turned off, if the bullcock doesn't work.

System boiler has a knob that opens to let mains water in.
Remember to close it, otherwise the dirty water from the central heating can contaminate the mains water. My plumber put in an inline valve to be extra safe, which I have to turn with a flat blade screwdriver.

Why not call a plumber or ask someone who knows more about it than you do?

If you are not confident enough to find your way around the boiler then no amount of advice from here will help really.

I live in Germany and my landlord should be the one calling the plumber and fix it but he has not been answering my calls for a week now and I need to save some money. I thought this should be easy to do if I had the right instruction thats why Im asking for forum help...
