HMRC Repayment Pending

So I've been on this forum since day 1. I put my self assessment in on 6th April requested payment on 7th then repayment until 6th may so I decided to ring. Bearing in mind that I did my mates and my brothers return and they both received theirs by the end if April. I spoke to a man and a woman on separate occasions. 1st woman said security checks which is routine to just get u off the line, 2nd guy went into my account and said there's been a problem and that I'll receive it soon. I didn't buy this excuse so rang again and told them I've done 2 other peoples return and both received. They then looked into it properly, I got told I ticked exempt from NI which I did and that they've cancelled my rebate, done an amendment with the NI taken off which then showed up on my account as a different, lower figure. I then requested that as instructed then it didn't show as pending so I rang again and got told they put a hold on my rebate being sent out and said they've taken the hold off my rebate and to call 03002003300 and tell them the situation and to tell them to issue the payment manually. She done this in 30 seconds and said I'll receive it within 2 weeks. Fingers crossed I'll get it next week. Will update

mine has issued todaybut ive had no message saying an electronic payment is being made?? doe sthis mean i wont get payment?? thanks

I never got a message last year and I got payment next day x

I requested repayment on April 10th it changed this morning from payment pending to bank repayment with May the 13th next to it, doesn't say payment issued pretty sure its been done though?


Not had an email either, and I didn't make any amendments and that was for the full amount requested on April 10th, hope it goes in the bank soon.

if it's saying issued it means you'll have the money usually within two days depending on your bank, as for the other two I can't really say if you've not had an email from them to say its being issued, but I never got that last year I got a letter saying it's being paid soon and then a few days later it changed in the website and I got it that day, but I'll let you know when my amendment clears, keep us updated when yours does too, if it's tomorrow or Friday, good luck.

Can anybody help, we did are tax return 24th march first time, within a few days it told us how much it was for so we request payment but it kept going bk to normall after a few days, so we rang and they told us we were under check and to leave it alone.for 2 week then to phone back,after 2 week it didnt do out just said to request payment so we rang and they told us to phone back in a week, on the last day, it went to u have nothing to pay, but we obv new we were owed over 1000 as we were told at start, then when i clicked repayments it came up.with bank repayment pending the ammount and payee you, we phoned them monday and they said we would have it within a week, but on post it says they only update twice a week monday and wednesday, do we ring again? Some of u have done ypurs after us and been payed we did it on march 24th? Am confused. I dont get what payment pending is, we have oready been security checked right at the start????

My other repayment she said should apparently this week and if its not call back Monday, because she said apparently I have passed security checks and should receive both payments this week but, what they say and what happens could be two different things, as for the fella above me, I can make out most of what you wrote but, honestly it sounds like you've made a mistake and are being investigated. Check your emails and give them a call if you haven't got an email mate. Good luck.

But on my sa it says 12th so thats a day behind so tomorrow mine will say 13th so could.it change tomoz? Or will it deffoo be next week for us we filed it on 27th march

When we rang on monday they said it would be in.within a week so woudnt they of told us then that we were been investigated??

That's what I said email them or call them and they can tell you.
