As you acknowledge that you'd be a rule breaker, if you become a BA regular rule breaker don't be surprised if their computer flags you up as one and takes action against you for this.
Theoretically correct, though in practice BA have not shown much interest in this to date and the risk remains fairly low. It's also less of a risk if you are not concerned about BA status and don't have loads of Avios with BA, as those are the things they will threaten first. Could change in the future of course, though hidden city ticketing is more of an issue for US carriers.
BA deals out of Dublin may not be so great once IAG have bought Aer Lingus, the cynical might say they will have no need to depress the Aer Lingus share price through attacking market share after that. You'd still save APD though.0 -
