I'm in the process of switching to Co-Op. As part of the online application I specified the bank account details I'd be switching from (what they called my "main" bank account but wasn't really
).
Despite this, I still had to do the switching over the phone. I was called a few days after submitting the application to arrange a time for the switch phone call.
Also note Co-Op require a debit card on the donor account.0 -

Also apply via topcasback – you might get another £40 on top of your £100.

PS You open the account online - but the switch can only be actioned by phone or in a branch. The switching request must be done within 2 weeks of opening the account to get the incentive.0 -
do they have to be D/D or can you do it with standing orders?:dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance:0

I presume you can switch a different account though if you change your mind - just say its your main account since last week!0 -
