How long SHOULD Scottish police keep records of speeding on file?

Are you in Scotland? Definitely CRB and not disclosure / PVG?
PVGs generally don't show minor motoring offences for some reason. I had a PVG in 2013 and it didn't show a speeding from 2010. Mind you, it isn't on my licence either!
I always disclose anything though, even though I know it wont appear. As far as care work is concerned convictions are not really regarded as spent.0 -
I live in the South East and have never lived in Scotland. I was just visiting a friend at the time.
The CRB is for work in London and is enhanced.
The CRB says the check was carried out by CRB Disclosure Services Ltd.
I guess I'm surprised that A: its relevant and B: these things still exist afer all this time and finally C: the inconsistancy.0 -
Ahem, No need?0

There's only one Police force in Scotland now, covering the whole country.

CRB hasn't existed for some time, DBS/Disclosure Scotland are in place and, when properly applied, throw up things like this quite legally and properly. A speeding ticket wouldn't be mentioned in most cases, but if a background is needed for taking crippled children and nuns in a volunteer maintained minibus to a hospice, it becomes relevant.0

No driving for this job!0

A conviction being spent means you are legally entitled to keep quiet about it and it is an offence to share information about others spent convictions. The offences are still kept on record and can be disclosed if there is a justifiable reason.0

Ok, thanks. I can't see a justifieable reson here. Just bloody mindedness.
No driving involved at all in the job.
Is there anyway I can appeal it's disclosure?0 -
Why bother appealing against a 10 year old minor driving offence which has no relevance to the job?.0
