Last year, I won £8500 from Dickinsons RD, 2 weeks later, 1 week all inclusive holiday to Barbados.
So far this year, ZILCH, I must be losing my touch!!.

You were very lucky then alan, some people will never win that in a lifetime.

With more & more people doing comps, it's a quiet time for a lot of us. Hope things pick up for us all eh

Me too! I won loads of good things last year and the year before and this year absolutely nothing! My boyfriend won £50 with take a break this year but that's it!

I'm hoping it means something good is yet to come.

You're very lucky to have won those great prizes last year...I've yet to win an itv win and I've been comping for a 'while'

If you are anything like me then you will win big but not often - 3 years ago I won 3 long-haul holidays in 10 months but then I didn't win anything again for 11 months. Last year was rubbish, but this year I won £500 and a trip to the Baftas & a goody bag worth £500 in the same week.

The way I see it, if I enter then I stand a chance - I don't expect to win anything but when I do it's a nice surprise. I only tend to enter for the bigger things anyway so I fully expect to go months without winning anything. Stay positive and I'm sure you'll win something nice again soon

This is turning out to be my worst year. Last year I didn't really keep on top of comps but still had a few wins, nothing huge but wins all the same. This year I've been trying hard to keep up to date and so far won zero. :think:

I normally do ok but I haven't won anything for 8 weeks last time that happened was 2 years ago

I have to say, even though I've not been quite as active (*hardcore) for the past couple of months, I have found wins have been few and far between. Actually zilch, but then there hasn't been a lot that I've wanted to enter, I'm not one of those who enters anything and everything. Maybe that's where I'm going wrong. Unfortunately I don't eat fish and I'm allergic to cheese.

Seems a little strange you not winning anything, but posting this is the "I won! I won! I won!" forum

I suppose it doesn't help when once a month Martin sends out the weekly email with an article on "How to increase your income by entering competitions" - then along come hundreds of newbies thinking it is a "get rich quick scheme"

I agree, more and more people enter competitions hence slimmer chances for a win. I haven't had a biggish win since last August, and my last win was a small skin scrub won in March.
