I moved house over 2 years ago and have just received a letter from a 'debt collector' company saying I owe a £54 gas bill!!
I called everywhere when we moved with readings etc but now have no paperwork for this (hence being so long ago)
Does nobody know where I stand with this?

If you think you owe it, I would suggest you pay it.
If you don't think you owe it, or are just not sure, I would suggest you call the gas supplier and talk things over with them0 -
If 2010 it would not be statute barred, if that's what you are asking. In England and Wales the time limit is 6 years.
So find out if it's a valid bill, and if so pay it.No free lunch, and no free laptop0
