I've got £14k in a Halifax ISA paying 1.05%. I have just opened the Santander123 Current Account and I'm thinking of withdrawing the ISA and putting it all into Santander as the interest is better.

However, I'm worried about what I'll do with any excess savings of 20k. As I'll fill my Santander account to its limit very soon. I understand that once I withdraw this money from my ISA, I can't fill it again until next year?

what do you want to achieve?

there are other interest paying current accounts, and also regular savers. or S&S ISAs.

your best option depends on what you want to do with your money, and how much money you have.

Depends when you put the money in the ISA. If it was since 6 April then yes you cannot put it into another ISA until 2016. If it was put in an ISA before 6 April 2015 then you still have the allowance this year you can use.
