How do you sort out your photos?

I have never heard of geo tagging until now, is it really that useful?
Depends on whether you personally would find it useful and what you are using it for. All it means is tagging it with the location usually coordinates of where the photo was taken. I think you can combine that with google earth so how useful that is depends on the individual."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

Personally I wouldn't geotag a photo manually (too much hassle), but if like me when out walking you use a gps then it's worth keeping it turned on as the gps stores details of everywhere you've been.
Then it's just a case of downloading to the pc the track from the gps, your photos from your camera, tell the geotag software where the track is stored and the directory for the photos and the software does the rest automatically of storing in the photo's exif details the location where it was taken.
Picasa reconises this so you can view your phones offline with google earth and online on the Picasa web album. Following is an example from my web album:-

I had always uploaded a copy of photos to yahoo so wasn't pleased to see they were closing but have started using Picasa and so far am really impressed.
Don't think much of Flikr on yahoo - I think you can only keep 200 pictures on there for free after the trial period0
