old and new ISA

Quick query - I have an ISA from last year and wish to open another this year, purely so I can have two separate accounts (saving for two different purposes, so easier to track).
Once I open the new ISA account, can I deposit into both the old and the new account upto the annual limit? Or am I somehow limited to only depositing into one account in any one year?
Thanks

In the same tax year, you can only deposit new money into one cash ISA.0

Standard MSE response: have you considered opening one or more current accounts instead, to gain access to better rates, even allowing for tax, see http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/savings/which-saving-account0
