    Unbelievable that a car coming in with a similar, dangerous fault on multiple occasions isn't being reviewed by a master tech and his boss.

    You'll like this - the master tech actually worked on it the last time it was repaired.

    You really need to go elsewhere then. Non destructive checks on calipers, cylinders, pipes and connectors are easy. Maybe, just maybe there is a faulty master cylinder, but a second year apprentice would have ruled that out by now.

    And, at less than a tenner for a flexi, and £20 for a wheel cylinder, NDT is an utterly pointless waste of money

    How clueless would you have to be to not see a flexi bulging or leaking; similarly looking at a caliper or cylinder moving throughout its travel and lifting the dust covers to make sure it's not leaking? Good engineering practice and money saving means you don't replace components, probably superior in construction to their replacements, just because you think they might be faulty or are cheap.

    It's a 13yo 106. They're not OEM on there now.

    And I'm not thinking of bulging etc - I'm wondering if the flanges have cracked or got damaged by the first, badly made, flares. For the same pipe to fail four times in a row, done by several people at several garages? No... Need to look wider.
