    Or a £15240 S&S ISA allowance?

I have put £300 into a new HSBC Loyalty cash ISA so I can cash in on the free tenners they pay every month for 12 months. The remaining £14,940 went straight into my S&S ISA.

Had a quick read of the link.

Such a shame (again) of the missed opportunity to correct all the errors in the article when it was published before.

MSE Helen, can you review and correct these ones:

5% taxed, if you're willing to switch bank account
Most people should grab up to 2.25% cash ISAs.
EVERYONE aged 16 or over now has a brand-new £15,240 cash ISA allowance
Do I have to keep the money in for a year to get the interest

All these seem to cause confusion, especially the last one as some people seem to think it means they can get 12 months interest by putting money into an ISA on 5 April.
Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.
