    Agreed. If a company is alleging that a contract is in place, then they need to prove that the contract was agreed to. It's not for the consumer to prove that they didn't.

    In this case, activation of a SIM and usage of the service would constitute proof of acceptance. If neither has happened then the company need to provide another form of proof - the consumer has proven non-acceptance by NOT activating the SIM or using the service.

    Its agressive marketing phoning round and then sending sims etc.

    he has written to orange customer services they are going the right way to lose customers if they do tnis to them.

    No offence but they don't just send out the cards without getting agreement.

    And the solution to getting something isnt to then stick your head in sand (by putting the sim in the bin)

    It's to ring them up and cancel it.

    If they didnt ring round this wouldnt happen.

    the local shop does not call you so why do the phone comoanies think they can its an impertinence.

    anyway they seem to have given him ten pound credit now.
