Meanwhile, those in doubt that the government isn't introducing an ID card sans the card, might want to pay close attention to this comment about Verify made by cabinet minister Francis Maude earlier this week:It will allow government – and eventually private sector services too – to trust that a user is who they say they are."Love you Dave Brooker! x"

I'm more interested in how making sites pay for this is part of a long term economic plan.
It would make me less likely to make my services available in the UK......💙💛 💔0 -

All about tracking and controlling you. It's why they want rid of cash, it doesn't leave a crumb trail. They're itching to bring in ID cards, it is killing them.
And if you fall for the old, nothing to hide nothing fear lie, more fool you.0 -
Happy to confirm that ID authentication through the government's Verify scheme using Experian does not create credit report footprints.

Can you clarify what other database of the population you possess that allows such checks to be made, and how does one see who's checking your identity, if no footprint is left?0 -

How much data do you keep and if the government asked you for a list of people you'd checked you'd be able to provide it?
Surely this would be complying that all data from email, calls, checks, electronic transfer are kept for a number of years?
How long before you start collating it and selling it to interested parties?
James, I would appreciate if you would answer the above.0 -
