I don't see a problem with this. Websites selling !!!!!! can use Experian to verify potential users are over 18. That's good isn't it? It is not as though they are keeping a list of our fetish preferences and sexual orientation.

You may as well concern such business dealings being on your credit card statements.

Your credit card statement isn't seen by the world and his brother, unlike the CRA files held about you.

Doesn't say it wouldn't be. So how else would Experian do this? I guess they'd allow the !!!!!! merchant to carry out a generic search to match name, address and date of birth. The search would appear on their files. But generic searches can only be seen by the subject of the search when he applies to see the file. No one else can see these searches. No, of course they can't :rotfl:

Says it would be done via the governments new 'verify' system.

If any search was left it would be a generic one for that which could be any number of things. Plus as you say only you see those.
