Hi Chocoholicqueen
Just popping by to say hello and well done on attacking those debts, your signature is looking great. Keep going with the ebay sales too, you have done a brilliant job so far. Despite selling most stuff on ebay a while ago I don't have much left to get rid of but You have inspired me to look again and see what I can shift to help get rid of my debt ASAP. I'm off to subscribe. Have a nice day

Hi Chocoholic
Yes I think a lot of people find the first week back a challenge. And if you are basically doing 2 jobs you are going to be stretched on the energy front. But hopefully worth it in the long run. Have a good rest of week.

Hi Daisy, thanks for popping by. I'm also amazed at the stuff I keep finding to sell. Mostly it's the kids clothes that I have kept for best and then they have grown out of them but I'm attempting all sorts of things now including a footstool and some cotton. I started eB@ying a few years ago and have made £1300 very :money:. I come out in a cold sweat now when I think about all the stuff I threw away.
Hi Bob, well I made it through the week :j. It actually turned out to be a really lovely week, everyone was in a happy mood, it really helps when the weather is nice and we can get outside to play.Emergency Fund £0/£500

Head is aching a little this morning. My friends had manage to get a groupon deal for £5 which included entry, a drink and a burger ( how classy am I lol) and we had a fab night, very cheap and very mse. They actually gave me the extra tickets what were left over so think I will be going again with the family tonight as they run out today.
Today will also be a spendy day as we are out looking for holiday clothes, mainly for me, we have a massive ads@ living by us, so I will be going there first. I need to start making some lists soon so I don't forget anything. I love a list, in fact I need to make a list of the lists I need to make
.
I made a small bank skim yesterday, I've decided I'm going to pay these off my next catalogue as that has the highest interest. So far I've paid an extra £100 by doing a small bank skim every week this year.
I also need to cancel 3 direct debits as I have recently changed my life insurance over and I don't want to be paying 2 different companies. Oh and my self assessment tax form came through this week, so the quicker I fill that out the better.
I hope you all have a lovely day

Hi Chocoholicqueen
I've been reading through everyone's diaries to keep me motivated and inspired and just came across yours
it was like reading my own story, you're just where I was a couple of years ago, I definitely struggled with saying no especially because my lot never ask for much anyway but now ive got the hang of it and we're doing so much better
Hope you have a good weekend

hi Chocoholic queen
Well done on your selling stuff on eb@y. We also have had debt for years and just got to the stage that it had to stop, it is really difficult but seeing the numbers coming down really keeps me motivated.
Good luck on your debt free journey:).Emergency fund target £12,000 (£2589).

EBay! I've gone back to selling stuff on it too. As my oldest boy says...Its ££ in the right direction. I've made about £500 since starting again but do find it frustratingly unpredictable. Some things I think are jolly decent sell for peanuts. Other stuff goes for much more than I expected. I keep on going...clearing out feels good. Keep going!Total debt at 18.9.17 £1950

Thanks Polly, sick of being in debt and lastfewsteps for popping by.
I'm still having trouble saying no, mostly to after school spending, so I have decided to give the youngest a certain amount for the week and see if he can learn to budget it. This also will hopefully help me to achieve a nsd. Will keep you updated as to how this goes.
Sold a few more bits on eB@y tonight, I've also been offered 100 free listings so will be hunting around the house tomorrow to see what I can find and hopefully persuade dh to get me a box out of the loft, with some old toot in that I've had for ages.
Polly your right about never knowing what is going to sell and for how much. I am always very honest when I write the description and I hardly ever put excellent condition, even though most of it is, so I probably under sell most of my stuff. Thankfully in the 4 yrs I've been selling, I've only had 1 problem that was easily solved.
I've had a right lazy day today, cooked a lovely lamb roast and everyone ate it at the same time, which is not always possible, now just need to clear our dining room table so we can actually sit at it :rotfl:.
Tomorrow will consist of more decluttering, eb@ying and sorting the finances out, that is unless someone is sick and I am called into work.Emergency Fund £0/£500

100 free listings  how on earth do you get that
I've used my 20 free listings and now have to wait for the next lot but I have so much stuff that its going to take me almost as long to sell as it is to get out of debt :rotfl:Total 15th April '15 :£12594.00

LastFewSteps they just randomly invite people. Although it doesn't always come through on my email, so i have to make sure i check eb@y on the pc to make sure i see it. You also only have a few days to list, hence why i'm trying to make the most of today.Emergency Fund £0/£500
