We bought an external hard drive for it a few months ago.

Does anyone know any links for help transfering files to it? Or what system files can we transfer without killing the laptop

Windows Explorer copy and paste works fine for me.

(Note, that's for files, it won't necessarily work for executables, which will probably need to be re-installed from the original media or downloaded).
