The capital value certainly can't decline, neither can any gains from index linking once they've been paid (annually). The value of the certificates can go down if the RPI falls and there are unpaid gains accumulated from previous months. However, this would not have happened between February and April. The current RPI figure is higher than that of the previous month, which in turn is significantly higher than the month before that, so I don't understand why fairleads' certs would be falling in value when mine have been going up.I do not understand.
