LLoyds TSB PPI Claim
Comments

If it was me I'd invest the £10.
Can you remember paying the PPI monthly or was it just one lump sum added on at the start of the loan.
Don't despair. I've heard of stories of where Lloyds have stated to people no PPI on credit card, only for those people to then send in card statements proving PPI existed, so they do get things wrong.
These are genuine mistakes, not outright lying.0 -

Yeah the PPI was a monthly payment in addition to my loan payment, And if I remember correctly, they were separate payments, think the loan payments were about £263, and then the PPI was something hefty like £60 maybe? I paid this every month for over a year until I changed to RBS and realised how much LTSB were ripping me off. Just never thought about trying to reclaim the PPI from them.
Got my SARS letter ready to go and going out this morning to get a £10 postal order.
I was going to send the letter recorded, But thinking would I send the SARS letter to the PPI claims dept? Or to the branch where I originally took out the loan? Although that branch is now a TSB branch.0 -

It was when the loan ended that was the issue so even if taken out in 06/07 if it was still active within 6 years you should be ok.
Take a copy of the letter and get proof of posting rather than paying for recorded - the FOS accepts proof of posting as proof the letter was received 2 days later (if sent first class).
Lloyds have a dedicated DSAR department - address is here:
Data Subject Access Request Dept, Lloyds Banking General Insurance, Tredegar Park, Newport, South Wales, NP10 8SB.Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

Cheers!
Loan was definitely repaid before 2009, only made payments on it for about a year before it was repaid in full.
Going to give it a try anyway!0 -

Hi Gary
Your website below says a different address:

Might want to clarify thatSam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

Already posted with the £10 postal order to the Andover address!
Am sure they will send it to the right place if it was wrong - might be a department for ex-TSB customers or somethingSam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

Hi Nasqueron,
Thanks for pointing that out. Letters sent to the address quoted on the website will be sent to the correct department; however, I'll pass this on to be updated as the address I've provided is most up to date.
Thanks,
