Vinegar worked ok for me for a while - then I noticed quite a patchy colour fade on some dark clothes.

I'm not a fan of stardrops as they make my hands so sore (I can't wear rubber gloves - I drop too many things!)

Growing-my-own - I'm just useless with plants - we tried last year - had bitter carrots and about 5 potatoes - the runner beans got attacked by aphid type things and I gave up. Would help if I remembered to water things I suppose ;)

But love my MF cloths - I've got some cheapie ones that feel horrible - the better quality ones are great - best used very slightly damp or dry.

I don't mind soups, stews & stuff like that in my SC (which I'm still glad I bought in spite of what I'm about to say below)

SC chicken is one of the the most horrible & disgusting things I've ever had the misfortune to cook
I was really disappointed after all the glowing reports I'd read on here

  • Tried making those gel air freshners once. They all went mouldy after a couple of days and smelled pretty awful. All ended up in the bin.

This is good, home made bread and rolls, sorry I just can't do it. Its hard, if I was to throw it at the wall, the wall would come of worse :D

Didn't realise you were meant to add Stardrops to HM yoghurt - is that where I've been going wrong!!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I love my MF cloths too - but Stardrops doesn't work for me.

Did anyone try the Soap Nuts. I did and my washing never looked clean no matter how many of the things I used.

I use vinegar (1/2-1/2 with conditioner) and find it ok - what happened to the washing machine that OP mentioned - I never saw that thread?
