What OS tip didn't work for you?

A post a while ago said that someone's washing machine was ruined by vinegar. Are there any tips from the OS forum that didn't work for you?

Getting my partner to help, does that count :rotfl:

Shopping for everything locally, just isn't enough locally or reasonably priced to do so. Meat yes, pet food etc yes, almost everything else, nope.

Oh and the company I got to deliver a F&V and meat box, some nasty F&V and meat was half frozen half not, to add to that they said 'just freeze it it'll be fine' nope when it came back out it stank, what a bloomin' nightmare that was.

I must have missed the vinegar breaking washing machine thread.

:o Admittedly however much I like using MF cloths, I wear gloves, they just feel awful don't they. I seen advertised MF towels, argh the thought of it! Best ones I've bought are scotch brite I think they are called but VERY expensive, they don't feel quite as bad. Downside is DP has discovered they are also good for using on the car, grr!

  • Ooooooohh - stardrops for me too, but I didn't want to be the only one to say it, with there being so many members loving it. It's ok for simple jobs, but that's all. Sorry!!!!
