    Kalixa.

Use it for purchases wherever possible. If using it in an ATM withdraw large amounts as rarely as possible. There's a £2.25 fee for ATM withdrawal, in addition to whatever that ATM charges.

    Here's a fee saving link.

Take a debit card as back up but only use it in a crisis.

Other fee to be aware of:

If you don’t use your eWallet or Card for six consecutive months we will charge you an account maintenance fee of £0.99 per month, beginning in the seventh month

The only thing I am worried about is loading a card and then not being able to use it whilst I am there, I looked at the post office but when I looked at reviews people said it was not accepted in USA. I have a debit card with free withdrawals from the Bank of America, However when i went last year i used cash only and they looked at me like i was an alien lol.:rotfl:

I used a Post Office card in the USA with no problems. For cash and POS transactions.

I've used Kalixa several times in the USA as well, always works like a charm.
