How to respond to AutoTrader buyer query.

In this day and age people are far more mobile. It may be that the buyer has a reason to be in the sellers area, might have a family or friends nearby. TBH I don't think it's anyone's business other than the buyer as to where they choose to buy. Can't see any real reason for trying to put obstacles in buyer's paths, my sister's car was cloned and she had never had it up for sale.0

Don't get desperate to sell the car, and on the whole don't deal via email, the prospective buyer can look elsewhere, whatever any prospective buyer needs to know they can discuss upon inpsection of the vehicle.
I always ask for the reg and MoT or VIN number to check the details online tie up and the mileage/MoT history. If the seller wont provide these, they'll have to sell to someone else as it looks suspicious if they refuse this basic information.0 -

Depends on your age. A lot of the younger generation prefer text or email than phoning, particularly to make initial contact.
With my 21yo son, we pretty much exclusively communicate by whatsapp or text when hes not in the house.0 -
Phone or email whichever seems appropriate; but not slang text; its just not my style.0
