Help to Buy & Cash ISA Transfer

Hello,
I understand that I can't open a new cash ISA and a help to buy ISA in the same tax year. Would this preclude me from transferring a pre-existing cash ISA (so, not introducing any 'new' money) and opening a help to buy ISA in the same year?
