Is £50 a week supermarket spend for 2 people ok?

My grocery budget is £130 per month, so £32.50 per week roughly. This doesn't include the majority of the meat we eat which comes in bi-monthly/quarterly musclefoods orders.
Musclefoods is usually less than £70 which, taking it bi-monthly makes that 8.75 per week (and we are BIG meat eaters in our household)
So that's £41.25 per week - I'd say we eat very well, lots of veggies (fresh and frozen), more than enough fruit and like I say I fair bit of meat. It also includes a number of convenience items for when we are away with our sport - porridge pots for our baby/us, cereal bars, dried fruit etc. I should think £50 for an adult and a teen (who may as well be classed an adult) is pretty good really************************************

I dont know how people can afford to shop at tesco, even a basket full of value stuff is a rip off!
Lidl or Aldi all the way...!!
If I physically walk around any sort of supermarket I can immediately double the bill just by lack of self control. I actually end up spending less at Tesco by doing the shop online and being able to see the basket total as I go along - if the shop comes in higher than I had planned to spend I will go through and remove items or look for cheaper alternatives.
I do appreciate that item by item it is probably way more expensive, but I'd just buy more unnecessary stuff if I am let loose with a trolley and a credit card!0

            I think it's good.
When I was a housewife and able to cook all my meals from scratch and shop around for the best deals, then we managed as two adults on £35/week. Now it is more like £50/week.
When we had no car we would each carry roughly £12.50 walking back from Lidl. So we spent £25/week, but that doesn't include buying lunches out which unfortunately is what takes us up to £50 (shameful I know).
My last shop was at ASDA for £60 but we bought some unusual bits for our upcoming wedding.0

I think that's plenty personally. The key is planning (and a freezer) x0

I spend no more than £28 a week on grocery shopping for me and my boyfriend.0
