nobody can tell you as we dont know what is happening with popla in the longer term

ie:- how can we advise you when popla dont know ?

    see here http://parking-prankster.blogspot.co.uk/2015/05/london-councils-issue-clarifying.html

my thoughts are, stick with the tried and tested formula for now and send in any rebuttals if required before decision day, after any evidence pack

Hi Redx, thanks for the reply. I am not entirely sure what you mean by what is happening with popla long term?

I have written out an appeal letter & Im sure I read on a post to copy the letter over to someone on here to check it before sending it. Does it not work like that?

As a lot of it goes over my head, I am wondering on whether to pay a fee to a 3rd party company to send through appeal on my behalf

I dont think anyone is selling their services at the moment

my point about popla is that at the moment they have cases stayed due to the beavis case, so as he is going to appeal nobody can determine what popla will do about those cases or any more they deem to be reliant on the beavis court cases

so if popla doesnt know, then neither do we know , nor does parking prankster or anyone else know

neither do we know any popla appeal decisions post-beavis either

its in limbo at the moment , so I would just follow previous best practice and appeal as if the beavis case wasnt determined

Oh ok, it's just one of the links you sent me mentions how if I pay a company £18, they will do the appeal for me.

I have already wrote an appeal, modifying it the best I can to hopefully fit & I will see if it makes sense to me again and then see how it goes I guess

they (PPAL) suspended trading after the beavis case, so unless they are trading again ?

you dont seem to appreciate the limbo land we are in post the beavis case at the CoA, and prior to the Supreme Court

You're right Redx, I probably don't appreciate the limbo land because I of the simple mind don't understand a lot of all of this & I in all honesty, I am stuck

I suppose you can go to parking cowboys or prankster, click on the link and see if they will deal with your popla appeal for that fee

maybe they are trading again like you seem to think

I cannot tell you as I know I saw they suspended operations after april 24th (post the beavis decision)

nobody is going to do it pro bono for you though , its either D.I.Y. or try PPAL for a fee

Its not that I seem to think it, I am just going by the link that you sent me Redx and how it mentioned how the cowboys/pranksters could help me but if you are saying that they are not in service then I will not down that route and go DIY like I originally started.

As requested a few posts ago, I really wanted to see if someone could look over my appeal letter but I don't know if my request for help has been understood or if I am not getting my point across correctly.

I will send in what I have done and hope for the best :o

If it's a modified appeal from here then it's as good as it gets.

there used to be a link in post #3 of the newbie thread .......... that linked to a multitude of previous POPLA appeals ....

sadly that is not there any more .....

I , and I well imagine that the OP would like to know if there is another way to find such appeals

It's gone because IMHO you can't quite argue the usual way any more, post Beavis, not in a templatey way! I didn't want people thinking it was as easy as before because the advice could cause people to relax and lose at POPLA. This hasn't been tested yet so I had to pull the templates to make people research it.

People need to know about the Beavis case and read the Judges' decision - and the OP should stop thinking it's just a matter of filling in the piddling little form.
